What it is

Free, and staying that way No ads, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions. The dictionary’s licence does not permit them, so this is a constraint rather than a promise.
Search, or work backwards Look a sign up by word, or find it from the handshape and where it is made when you have seen it but cannot name it.
Works without a signal The whole dictionary and every illustration are on the device. Video streams when you are connected.
Built for the current iPhone and iPad A ground-up SwiftUI app using system controls, Dynamic Type and VoiceOver as they come.
